Léa Falco is a Project manager for training public officials in environmental issues” at the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées (ENPC). In December, she is starting a COFRA thesis between the ENPC, CIRED and CGDD in political science, entitled “From training public officials to transforming public action: the case of ecological transition”.

Abstract

We are currently in a “strange transition”, announced but not yet begun, which locks us into a painful in-between period of history. In this period of uncertainty, how can we build ecological transformation? And what’s the point of committing oneself when one feels that one’s effort are insufficient? To do this, we need a theory of change through which action can be taken, building up individual commitments to achieve collective change.
