Olivier Massol: Professor of Economics at the IFP School of Engineering and head of the Climate Economics Chair’s Energy Transitions research programme. Europe is one of the worldwide leaders in setting environmental and climate policies. We will review some of them, to the light of the latest developments proposed in the context of the RePowerEU framework, prompted by the Russian-Ukranian war, and the recent decisions on how to reach carbon neutrality in 2050.
