Language models have recently enjoyed a renaissance, illustrated by the success of platforms such as ChatGPT. The ability of machines to process and generate information at a level comparable to that of a human raises many questions for society: which industries will be transformed, how will current services evolve, how can these technologies be regulated and how can the economy adapt. In addition to the societal considerations, we will also take a look at the current ecosystem and the technical challenges posed by these technologies.

 

SPEAKER :

Louis Abraham is a recognised expert in the field of IT. After studying at Polytechnique and ETH Zurich, he worked as a researcher in AI and collaborated with Stanford and MPI. He has also developed cutting-edge NLP technologies for finance and end-to-end encrypted cloud storage. He is currently a director of Afer and a doctoral student in finance at Paris 1.
