Program

Presentation by Alain Coën, Full Professor of Finance at the School of Management Sciences, University of Quebec at Montreal.
“REITs: Risk, Performance, Challenges, and Perspectives”.
He will discuss, from a perspective of financialization and integration, the impact of systemic risks, macroeconomic and monetary risks on the performance of REITs and real estate companies in Europe, the United States, and Asia. The link between financialization and urbanization in Europe will be highlighted. He will also address the issues of real estate company concentration, the adoption of ESG standards (particularly “green REITs”), before opening on the perspectives associated with climate and geopolitical challenges in an uncertain post-pandemic context.

Benoit Faure-Jarrosson, Senior Advisor at Invest Securities.
Benoît Faure-Jarrosson joined Invest Securities in 2006 after 11 years of collaboration with the financial analysis department of the brokerage firm Fideuram-Wargny. A member of the SFAF, he is responsible for its real estate sector group, president of the IPD France index committee, and a board member of several companies. He was a board member and chairman of the audit committee of Icade (2007-2014) and is also president of the Lyon Historical Society.

Christophe Kullmann, CEO and Board Member of Covivio.
Christophe Kullmann has spent his entire career in the real estate sector. He notably served as CFO of Immobilière Batibail, a listed real estate company, from 1992 until its merger in 1999 with Gecina, where he then became CFO. Leading Covivio since its creation in 2001, Christophe Kullmann serves as CEO and is a board member. He is also a founding member of the Palladio Foundation and, since 2019, has been honorary president of the Federation of Real Estate Companies (FEI).
