Organised each year at the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Financial Risks International Forum is an event that brings together professionals and academics from around the world to discuss current issues in the banking/finance/insurance/asset management industry. The aim is to present excellent research and to facilitate exchanges between researchers and professionals. The event welcomes more than 600 participants, including leading scientists from European, American and Asian universities. See details Green Finance Research Advances The next edition is scheduled for 12, 13 and 14 December 2023. This annual conference is co-organised by the Institut Louis Bachelier and the Banque de France, with the participation of Finance for Tomorrow (currently Institut de la Finance Durable) and the Institute for Climate Economics Research – I4CE. The objective is to bring together academics, financial practitioners and regulators to discuss research issues related to the integration of climate risks (and more generally environmental issues) in macroeconomic modelling/forecasting and in the assessment of financial sector risks. See details ILB Rising Talents in Finance and Insurance The date of the next edition is still to be decided. At this parallel event to the Risk Forum 2021, we presented a selection of ILB Rising Talents (maximum eight years after their thesis), whose work was judged particularly promising by their peers. Four PhD students presented their thesis in 180 seconds. And, in collaboration with the SCOR Corporate Foundation for Science, we announced two talents who have already demonstrated their high-level research and were awarded the title of “Best Young Researcher in Finance and Insurance” 2020 and 2021.
