Ensuring the safety of autonomous demonstrator vehicles - the Safety-Bag approach.

Summary This article presents a safety study conducted on the autonomous robotic vehicles of the ASER team in the Heudiasyc laboratory. This study confirms that the use of these vehicles involves important risks during experiments, and that the insertion of a Safety-Bag component in the architecture of the vehicle makes it possible to considerably reduce the gravity of these risks.
