Galton-Watson process depending on the population size*.

Summary To study the generalization of Galton-Watson processes to the case where the reproduction laws depend on the population size we consider different families of such processes indexed by the initial population size. When the initial population size increases towards infinity we show results of the law of large numbers, central limit theorem and principle of large deviations. We discuss the generalization of our results for spatial Galton-Watson processes.
