Scientific project

The main objectives of the Chair are to increase and consolidate the level of excellence of its partners by developing thinking, research and training around a theme of that is of general interest. The Chair also seeks to facilitate direct contact between teacher-researchers, researchers from GENES and its strategic partners, and students and/or doctoral candidates involved in research activities, to their mutual benefit. Finally, it aims to possibly develop cooperation and partnerships, especially Research Initiatives, with academic centers of excellence in particular on the above-mentioned topics in France and elsewhere in Europe, with the support of partner companies.

More specifically, the Chair will contribute to: the development of applied scientific research on the economics and management of Big Data, particularly through quantitative and statistical methods; research and training at the highest level of young specialists in these subjects, especially by means of training through research; and dissemination of knowledge and understanding of these themes to relevant actors in France and Europe.
