27/03/2024 How to finance the ecological transition in France On March 25, 2024, the Louis Bachelier Institute and the Research Institute of Caisse des Dépôts (CDC) organized a webinar dedicated to the theme of financing the ecological transition, which had significant implications for current and future generations. In this context, while Europe in general and France in particular had ambitious climate goals, notably in terms of reducing greenhouse gas emissions aiming for carbon neutrality by 2050, the challenges remained immense to achieve this. Among them was the financing of the ecological transition, which required colossal amounts.
