EDGAR (Emissions Database for Global Atmospheric Research) is a database that provides information on greenhouse gas emissions from human activities at a global, regional, and national level. EDGAR is developed and maintained by the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre (JRC). The database includes emissions data for various greenhouse gases, including carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4), nitrous oxide (N2O), and others, as well as information on their sources such as energy production, industrial processes, transportation, agriculture, waste management, and land use changes.
