IPCC Data Distribution Center is part of IPCC.

Quick description

The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) is the United Nations body for assessing the science related to climate change. They provide regular assessments of the scientific basis of climate change, its impacts and future risks, and options for adaptation and mitigation. There are one the most influent scientific entity regarding climage change questions.  

The Data Distribution Center (DDC) provides a transparent, traceable, stable and assessable archive for the climate, socio-economic and environmental data and scenarios used in the reports and key figures produced by the IPCC. Main targets are researchers. 

There are currently and old website (not user friendly) and a new website (but data migration is ongoing). 

One can also mention the Emission Factor Database (EFDB), intended to be a recognized library, where users can find emission factors and other parameters with background documentation or technical references that can be used for estimating greenhouse gas emissions and removals.
