NZDPU -

Quick description

The NZDPU’s mission is to provide a trusted, central source of company-level climate data that is transparent and openly accessible to all.

It was announced in 2022 by the Climate Data Steering Committee (CDSC). The first version of the tool was officially lauched at COP 28, end of 2023. 

While still being very limited in terms of coverage, it has the ambition to become a reference for climate related data and is engaging with most important actors of the field (NGOs, Governments, Practionners…). 

Its developpement is beeing followed by the Climate Data Expert Advisory Panel (CDEAP), a group of expert from several sustainable finance institutions.
