Abstract :

In this talk we will detail the propagation methods used within the bitcoin infrastructure. In particular we look at an analysis of the bitcoin Cash network, the formation of a giant node and the propagation between systems. We investigate the manner and method used in the sending of transactions and blocks, and detail how this scales to be able to handle millions of transactions per second. We will also look at the use of models from epidemiology to detail and describe the structure of bitcoin and its propagation system.
