The intergenerational issue will be at the heart of the presidential debate. The health crisis has revealed the fractures that could exist between the generations, between the sacrificed younger generation, affected by a high unemployment rate, and the older generation, the first victims of Covid. Moreover, the social and political stakes of a possible pension reform and the future law on old age show the crystallisation of the current debates around the intergenerational issue. This conference will be an opportunity to discuss this subject with prominent personalities, and the measures to be taken to ensure intergenerational harmony in an Ageing Society.
