Summary Varieties resistant to cryptogamic diseases of the vine hold out great hope for a reduction in the use of phytosanitary products. They seem to be a credible alternative to traditional grape varieties because the wines produced from them should find takers on the market, according to a study published by researchers at the Institute of Vine and Wine Sciences (University of Bordeaux, France).
