Sunday work, time use and social and family life: an analysis based on the Time Use Survey.

Summary The article compares the time use of those who work on Sunday and those who do not work on that day. Working on Sundays is associated with a loss of family and friends sociability and a decrease in leisure time beyond those observed on a weekday. These losses are not fully compensated by the day of rest.
