Summary While tourism has definite economic advantages for developing countries (economic wealth created, jobs generated), it is also the source of many environmental, social and societal problems. The problem of concretizing the concept of sustainable tourism constitutes the major challenge for the development of developing countries. The implementation of the principles of sustainable tourism is hampered by the conflicts of interest of the different stakeholders. The purpose of this thesis is to identify the stakes carried by the various stakeholders of the territorial strategies of sustainable tourism and to propose participative methods of decisional choices aiming at ensuring the construction of the sustainability of a territory. The piloting of this participative strategy of sustainable tourism is experimented on the territory of the city of Rabat, in Morocco.
